Be prepared for Bruges culi festival KookEet at the end of September

It's becoming a tradition; every year by the end of September the top 30 restaurants are organising  KookEet: A culinary festival.  During 3 days, 32 top chefs of the Bruges region will serve gastronomic small dishes at a reasonably price.  This year the "not to miss event" for culi lovers  on Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th of september on the new square located on the south side of  Bruges train station.

For the 6th time already visitors will be able to enjoy a great time at KookEet.  The guest chef of the year is television chef Jeroen Meus. But also the founding father of the event Geert Van Hecke will be present with his 3 star Michelin restaurant The Karmeliet.   It will be a special occasion to taste one of his dishes for the very last time since he will close the restaurant after 33 years. 
Next to the 31 restaurant stands, there will be also a coffee and champaign bar.
Bruges is one of the gastronomic centres of Europe and boasts an impressive number of star-rated restaurants. Whether you swear by fish or prefer meat; whether you love beer in your dishes or would rather have a wine-based sauce; whether you are a fan of exotic culinary delights or a devotee of authentic, local cooking, the superior kitchens in Bruges have so much to offer that everyone will be able to discover recipe to his or her taste.

Location: Station Squarre - direction Sint Michiels 
The Kookeet village opens every day at 11 am.  Dishes are sold up to 9 pm. You can buy drinks up to 9.30 pm.
