Definitions
The following

establishment that provides lodging facilities, provided that he
has obtained all the necessary permits to run such establishment
on the territory of Bruges and that he remains in
compliance.
The client =

the web module of booking.com (online hotel reservations) to
book one or more rooms from the accomodation supplier.

intermediary = www.booking.com

owner of the www.visit-bruges.be domain name

module: A software program based
on internet technologies that enables the intermediary to display
tourist products and to allow clients to make reservations.
The programme provides the communication means between the client
and the accomodation supplier for on-line
reservations.
Article 2.
General stipulations
The intermediary
(www.booking.com) places the web module at the client’s
disposal. By his use of the web module, the client
authorizes the intermediary to submit information to the
accommodation suplier. Every financial transaction
resulting from a reservation or cancellation will be concluded
between the client and the accomodation supplier.
Article 3. Use
of the web module
The use of the
web module is free of charge. In order to use the web module, the
client must have a valid credit card. The client is fully
responsible for all information provided by by using the web
module of the intermediary.
The client agrees
to immediately notify the intermediary (www.booking.com) of any
unauthorized use of his information or any other breach of the
security of his account. The right of use that is granted to the
client is limited to the reservation and cancellation of products
offered via the web module. The client does not have the
right to rent out, lease, sublicense or steal his right of use or
to put it at the disposal of a third party.

Disclaimer of warranties
The intermediary
(www.booking.com) cannot take the place of or stand surety for a
third party when it comes to offering available accommodations via
the web module. The available accommodations are entered by
the accommodation supplier in the web module at his own
discretion.

clients' disposal “as is”, without warranty of any kind,
either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the
implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose or noninfringement.

provided by the intermediary will meet the clients’s
requirements, or that web module or any related software
will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free; nor does
www.visit-bruges.be make any warranty as to the results that

software or that defects in the web module or any related software
will be corrected.
The client
recognizes that there are inherent limitations with secure
transaction processing over the internet, and agrees to determine
whether the web module and any related software meet his required
level of security.
The client is
solely responsible for adequate safeguards and protections of his
equipment, software programs, information and data or any other
materials and/or information that may be affected by the web
module or any related software.
Article 6.
Limitation of liability
The intermediary’s
intervention is restricted to putting on-line the accommodation
supplier‘s room availabilities, prices and to forwarding
the client’s reservation/cancellation and his personal
information to the accommodation supplier.

accepts no liability for any inaccuracies in the information
provided by the client to the acoomodation supplier via the web
module.

and the intermediary cannot be held responsible by the client for
incorrect or incomplete information provided by the accommodation
supplier.
The accommodation
supplier is solely responsible for the availability of the product
or service that is the subject of a reservation.

from the non-availability of a product or service.

cannot be held responsible by the client for any shortcoming in
the service offered by the accommodation supplier. For any
complaints during his stay, the client must address to the
accommodation supplier.

cannot be held responsible by the client for any delay,
malfunction and/or complete or partial breakdown of its website,
the web module or any related software. In this case, the
client cannot claim any compensation.

expressly disclaims any liability as to delays in data
