The most photographed dog in Bruges is deceased . The twelve -year-old Labrador Fidèle had his permanent home along the Groenerei and became world famous.
Also known as the dog that sat in the window over the canal, he was a beloved fixture to the town to the point of his passing (age 12) made the papers!

In good weather the dog was always to look through the window along the canals and was photographed by thousands of townspeople and the tourists . Meanwhile, the owners of Fidèle get a lot of sympathy on social media.
He was the most beloved and most photographed dog in town. Fidèle figured in the movie " In Bruges " with Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Ciarán Hinds (2008)
