People who want to improve their technique (or lack thereof) can go for dance initiations in the different ballrooms who help them in various dance styles.

The event is a co production of the city of Bruges and Stricto tempo in collaboration with the Cactus Music centre that is also organising the Cactus Festival in early July, known as one of the best small festivals of Europe.
