If you're on the 'Huidevettersplein' take a close look to
the surrounding houses. You can see the guildhall of the
'Huidevetters'. The 'huidenvetters' are the leather workers or
tanners. A powerful guild , the hall dates back from 1630. In the
center of the square you can spot a pedestal , pillar. On top
there are two little lions holding the coat of arms of the guild.
One of the most photographed
spots in Bruges is the Rozenhoedkaai, just around the
corner. If you were allowed to take only one snapshot while in
Bruges, here is the spot to take it!
The
Quai of the Rosary (Rozenhoedkaai), is a starting point for many
boattrips through Bruges.
